Robert Pattinson may be adored by crazed teenage girls around the globe, but the film hunk currently has eyes for one creature only - a new dog.
According to MusicRooms.net
, the blue-eyed heartthrob became so attached to a pup on the set of his current film, Water for Elephants, that he admitted he's longing to take it home.
"The trainer said yes, but that it would cost Rob because he's a show dog with special acting skills," a source told the news outlet.
Pattinson's affection for animals is nothing new. In fact, the Twilight actor, 24, recently spoke with Parade Magazine
about losing his beloved canine, Patty.
"I keep talking about my dog all the time...[she] was the most important person in my life," he told the news source.
Animal actors have been tugging at people's heartstrings for a long time now. In fact, the film Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, which features scores of pets from animal shelters, has grossed more than 18 million dollars worldwide so far.
